Certifications
All of our products undergo rigorous compostability testing by authoritative third-party agencies and are certified to meet the necessary standards and specifications for compostability. These certifications provide independent assurance that our products truly meet the highest international standards. Our compostable resins, masterbatches and compostable bags have obtained certifications issued by international authoritative organizations, such as OK Compost, Home OK Compost(TÜV AUSTRIA), ASTM D6400(BPI), EN13432(DIN CERTCO), AS4736 and AS5810(ABA).
To meet this standard, a product must pass the following tests:
- Chemical Characteristic Test
Heavy metals in the products must be below the safety threshold.
- Biodegradation Test
The plastics achieve a 90% biodegradation rate within 6 months.
- Disintegration Test
A maximum of 10% unbroken residue (greater than 2 mm) is allowed.
- Compost Quality Studies
Phytotoxicity testing ensures that the compost product is non-toxic to plants.
To meet this standard, a product must pass the following tests:
- Biodegradability Test
The material achieves at least 90% biodegradation rate under home composting conditions within 12 months.
- Biological Toxicity Test
There is no adverse effect on plant growth after degradation.
- Additive Assessment:
The additives contained in products should not affect the quality of compost.
To meet this standard, a product must pass the following tests:
- Chemical Characterisation Test
There are no heavy metals above the levels specified in the standards.
- Biodegradability Test
Complete biodegradation within 6 months under specific conditions.
- Disintegration Test
Disintegrates within 12 weeks in a composting facility.
- Ecotoxicity Test
There is no adverse effect on plant growth after degradation.
To meet this standard, a product must pass the following tests:
- Chemical Characteristics Test
The content of heavy metal is below the safety threshold.
- Biodegradability Test
The plastics should decompose within 6 months under specific laboratory conditions.
- Disintegration Test
The plastics can disintegrates within 3 months under composting conditions.
To meet this standard, a product must pass the following tests:
- Chemical Characteristics Test
Heavy metal contained in products is below the safety threshold.
- Biodegradability Test
The product is completely degraded within 12 months in specific conditions.
- Disintegration Test
The plastics disintegrate within 3 months under compost conditions.
- Ecotoxicity Test
No toxic effect on plants is generated.
